新生报到篇
各位熟悉雅思的烤鸭们一定知道雅思听力包含4sections以及十大场景，section3通常又会涉及以下场景：新学校介绍、课程安排介绍、选课咨询、学校设施和师资力量介绍、学生或教授关于一个课题的研究，调查报告和讨论、课堂作业，论文，学习方法的讨论、咨询。
我们今天主要分析一下新生报到场景的出题形式，列举一些相关词汇，并且通过一道具体试题来探讨一下做题技巧。
它一般会涉及如下几个考点：环境，注册程序及费用，学校的历史，校名的变迁，建筑及开放时间，制度，教学，设施，教职员工，选课，学生常见问题及建议。一般由Admissions Officer 或School Counselor来向新生介绍。 针对这几个考点，我们归纳总结了一下各个考点的相关词汇，具体如下：
教学
research 研究，deadline 最后期限，poll （民意）调查，survey 调查，hypothesis 假设，
statistics 统计，statistically valid 统计学上有效的，data/datum 数据，investigation 调查，

解析
这部分题通常会分为两段来播放，多数以填空题和选择题的形式出现。值得注意的是，第一道题的题目要求：Write no more than three words for each other。正如上面的16，它有两种表达方法：having surgery或者是 in hospital.，只要任选其一就可以了。切忌千万不要超出字数要求否则都算错。
还有17，特殊人名或者地名在听力过程中会逐一地拼写，烤鸭们要留意了。18和19是关于时间和日期的考查，关于这类题没有别的捷径，只有通过做相关的针对性练习才会有很大的提高的！
复习建议
烤鸭们可以分为两个阶段来备考雅思听力，首先是初级阶段，在这里我强烈推荐那个十分经典的听力训练教材Listen to this，奠定自己坚实的听力基础。然后就是冲刺阶段，在这个阶段建议大家把雅思的历年真题作为自己复习的蓝本。通过做一系列真题，来分析一下雅思考试的题型，它的高频词汇，并且形成自己一套独特的记笔记的方法。
